About Me
I am Saurabh Wagh, a Software Development Engineer currently based out of Seattle, WA working with Microsoft Corp. I moved to Seattle in summer ’08 and have been enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest since. I love exploring scenic places and the Seattle neighborhood has lived up to my expectations.
My exploration of the west coast started when I interned with VMWare during summer ’07 at Palo Alto, CA. Apart from the exciting technical challenges at work, life in Bay Area was filled with adventurous weekend outings exploring northern California. The 3 months I spent in California bring back some of the most fond memories of my stay in the US.
I came to the US in fall ’06 to pursue my Masters in Information Networking at Carnegie Mellon University. Apart from adapting to a completely new lifestyle & exploring the Steel City (Go Steelers!!), the two years of student life had their own share of hardships & fun. My projects & courses at CMU laid a solid technical foundation and enhanced my software engineering skills, opening doors to countless opportunities for the future.
I was born and brought up in Mumbai, India where I spent most years of my life prior to coming to the US. My tastes & beliefs strongly portray my close connection to Mumbai’s unique lifestyle & culture. I pursued my Bachelors in Information Technology at Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology. I later worked with Wipro Technologies in Pune, India for a year before coming to US for higher studies.
